Javier E. Sanchez, MD

Dr. Sanchez is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management doctor specializing in the treatment of complex pain conditions. Dr. Sanchez was born into a family of engineers in Puerto Rico and attended University of Puerto Rico, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Sanchez was then accepted into the highly competitive Tri-Institutional Pain Medicine Fellowship of Weill Cornell, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he gained expertise in the management of complex painful conditions.
